When Brandon Fletcher moved to town a year and a half ago, he brought with him a desire to push his fitness further than ever before. Weighing 215 pounds, he had already begun working on his nutrition and fitness, but despite his efforts, he hit a plateau. He needed something more, something that would challenge him in ways he had never been challenged before.
The 5 AM Grind
Brandon found his rhythm in the 5 AM class at CrossFit Fig. There is something about training in the early morning darkness that strips away all the excuses. It is just you, the barbell, and the work. No distractions. No shortcuts. Just effort.
Breaking Through
With the help of coaches Chad and Jess, Brandon shattered his plateau. He added over 40 pounds to all of his major lifts. But the strength gains were just the beginning. He mastered skills he never thought possible: pull-ups, muscle-ups, chest-to-bar pull-ups, and handstand push-ups. Each new skill unlocked a level of confidence he did not know he had.
No Limits at 35
At 35, Brandon believes there are no limits to what he can achieve. CrossFit Fig showed him that age is just a number and that the only real barriers are the ones you set for yourself. He is stronger, more capable, and more confident than he has ever been.
Outside the Gym
When he is not crushing workouts, Brandon is a pilot who loves flying small planes. The discipline and focus required in the cockpit translate directly to his training, and vice versa. Both demand precision, calm under pressure, and a willingness to push past your comfort zone.
Brandon's story is proof that it is never too late to break through. All it takes is the right environment, the right coaching, and the willingness to show up and do the work.
